Internet Marketing Relationships

I recently read an article by Christo Fouche on the topic above and have to say that I truly agree with his comments.

All of us dream at one point or another about being able to work from home, be our own boss, work when we like and yet be able to earn not only enough to support our life style but earn enough to give us a life style that includes holiday trips abroad, pay our insurance premiums, pay our daily bills, gives us a nice neat car to move around etc etc.

So, what do we do? Well, most of us start to engage ourselves into Internet Marketing, MLM, Online Marketing, Work From Home schemes etc. We are drawn to all the multiple emails that floods us with all kinds of promises. Promises that will give us what we are looking for as long as we invest in those packages.

But most of us forget the most fundamental rule of all businesses - that to be successful, we need to take care of our customers!!!! How many of us have tried to send emails to those who promised success and yet have not received any replies? How many times have we sent emails to support centers yet have not received any satisfactory answers?

Well, if you have not experienced any of these frustrations, then you must be one of those extremely few lucky people around. Most of us, including myself, have been extremely frustrated by people who refuses (and I call it refuses because I am certain they have received the mail) to answer emails even though they encouraged it to be sent to them.

No matter how busy we are, we should make a point to answer all emails - personally and not through a standard autoresponder. A standard autoresponder does not take into account the individual questions your customer (or downline) is asking.

Another point to take note is the time frame to answer an email. Is it 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks or 1 month? What is the correct and acceptable time frame? Remember the days when internet was not available and the only way to communicate (especially around the world without costing an arm and a leg) is via postal? Well, then it was acceptable to wait 1 month or even 2 months for a reply from a friend. Today, with internet, even 3 days is too long. But 3 days or even 1 week is acceptable depending on the nature of the question. If, however, you are on holdiay and is not contactable via email, the right action to take is to configure your email system to send an automatic vacation message to your writer. This way, they are aware when to expect a reply from you.

Most people fail in their internet marketing schemes because they do not build relationships. They do not allow time for them to build up relationships that will work for a long term. Instead, they try to jump from one program to another and if they do see a result within a month or so, they move on to another. This way, they start to lose the trust of any downlines that they have built.

Downlines are vey important to the success of any internet business that you start and embark on. Keeping a close relationship with your downlines are important. Remember, their success is your success.
