Difficulties of writing a blog

I have never been much of a writer before. Even in my younger days, I have never kept a diary because I find it difficult to share my thoughts with others on paper.

During my working life, the only way I could share my knowledge and experience was through direct coaching and presentations. Every thing was a direct approach which required my presence.

Today, I am asked to write blogs so that I could promote my business. The fact is I find that really difficult to do. Even as I am writing now, I find it difficult to express all that I wish to say. Each time I am stumped when it comes to the title. What should I write about? What should I not write about? Decisions, decisions, decisions...that is real hard.

I do not wish my blog to be a selling blog because I truly want to find a way to share the experiences (the ups and downs) I have gone through in finding my way in this Internet Marketing business. I know there are many of us who are venturing into this and hoping to make some extra income to support our normal income. And I feel it is important for all us to know what kind of difficulties we might face, what tools are available to us, how much should we spend and so on.

There are just so many questions and I truly do not know where to begin. My thoughts jump around and each time, I find that my messages are disjointed and I am afraid my readers would not understand.

Words just flow right through me but somehow they would not come out the way I wish it would. Some people have the flair for writing, others like me do not. So, what do we do?

I know there are a few ways - we can take articles from others, hire someone to write for us or buy articles and post it in our blogs. But then, for me, this feels as if I have not put in my effort. It does not give me the personalized feeling. Hence, this is why my posts are far and apart.
